Preschool United Under One Roof

October 2, 2008No Comments

The Christ Church Episcopal Preschool started the school year in September 2008 united under one roof in the newly renovated parish house. Prior to the renovations, the preschool had been divided between two separate buildings.

Craig Gaulden Davis and Triangle Construction Company delivered the project from design concept through completion in less than 8 months via integrated project delivery collaboration.

The 33,000 sf renovation allowed the school to expand their ministry to 13 classrooms, serving 200 children. The work involved heavy renovations to spaces essentially untouched in 40 years and originally built to accommodate a private school. Classrooms were enlarged, windows added, a new fire sprinkler system was installed, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems were replaced. And most importantly, the kids love it.
