December 6, 2011No Comments

CGD President Ed Zeigler is serving as Education Chair for the 2012 National AIA Convention scheduled for May in Washington, DC. As Education Chair, Zeigler has worked with 2012 AIA President Jeff Potter, FAIA and Convention Chair, Jim Determan, AIA, to set the theme for continuing education offerings and to provide a quality registration process for the convention.

Over the last several months, Zeigler led the review of approximately 600 proposals for education sessions. 160 different seminars and workshops were selected for the four-day convention. The convention theme, Design Connects, will be prevalent in education sessions, keynote speeches and educational tours at the May meeting.

Recent AIA Conventions have seen attendance of nearly 20,000 industry professionals.
