By December 6, 2007News

In 2007, Anderson University opened the doors of its newest dormitory to 44 students. The building offers a traditional dormitory arrangement for women, featuring common bathing facilities, a large activities room, a kitchen and laundry facility, and a suite for special guests of the University.

Craig Gaulden Davis provided design services in a design-build arrangement with Marsh Bell Construction.

The building is located across from the primary green space of the campus. The design includes enough parking and storm water management provisions to support future development. A master plan for the property includes several additional housing projects with a variety of living arrangements.

Anderson University is a comprehensive university, affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention, that offers bachelors and masters degrees in approximately 50 areas of study. Dr. Evans P. Whitaker is the current president of the university.
