Saturday May 13 found a crew from CGD on the side of an 80-foot-high rockface in western North Carolina.

After a Thursday night practice session at a Greenville-area climbing club, eight architects, interns and friends tried their hands (and feet) climbing and rappeling from the real thing.

The trip was organized by Scott Kilgore and JD Harrison, both of whom regularly test the organization’s appetite for adventure.
