New Libraries in GA and NC

By | News | No Comments

Craig Gaulden Davis has been engaged to provide design services for a pair of libraries in as many states.

CGD has been selected to design an addition and renovate the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library in Conyers, Georgia. Growth in Conyers and Rockdale County, just outside of Atlanta, has put enormous strain on the 15-year-old facility. Construction is slated to begin as early as the fall of 2006. Augusta, Georgia’s Studio 3 Design Group will join CGD to lead construction phase services.

The firm has also been selected to design a new branch library for the town of Etowah, North Carolina. The new 8,000 sf branch will replace an existing branch and is part of the Henderson County Public Library System.  Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2006.
