Anderson Districts I & II Career & Technology Center (ACTC) and their industry partnersĀ serveĀ 2,000 Anderson County students offering specialized training to help prepare them for successful careers or post-secondary education. After the completion of an Auto Body Repair Facility, a Landscape Design Facility, the Timken Engineering and Computer Facility, and a Construction Technology Facility, ACTC commissioned Craig Gaulden Davis to design an addition to the front of their facility to give the Center a more modern look and highlight their Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program. The new addition, clad in curtainwall, provides new administration space to allow the staff to work more efficiently and spotlight their popular Graphic Arts program.

The addition of a conference center was conceived in 2016 to provide a multi-purpose facility for learning, community classes, and general large gathering space to serve the districts. The facility includes a serving kitchen, storage room, and toilets. The building is steel framed with a low-slope modified bitumen roof containing light monitors to allow for natural lighting and to support photovoltaic panels. The new building is connected to the adjacent facility with an aluminum covered walkway.

CGD completed a master plan in 2018 for the Center that includes future structures for a medical training facility, a culinary arts facility, an HVAC training structure and an Engineering building. The additions and renovations by Craig Gaulden and Davis have been instrumental in preparing students for the local workforce as well as advanced degrees.
