This two-story brick and stone veneer Visitor’s Center is the new welcoming front door to the Governor’s School campus in downtown Greenville. The new facility now houses several departments under one roof which were previously scattered throughout the campus. Departments include Governor’s School for the Arts Foundation, admissions, outreach, costume production and print shop.

The center portion of the 11,400 SF building, designed as a glass box, provides a warm and inviting entrance and affords views through the building to the park beyond. The spacious lobby combines waiting areas with exhibit space for student art.  Adjacent the lobby is a large conference room which is used for presentations by prospective students as well as foundation meetings.
