To accommodate an increased demand for office space, CGD was recently selected to provide design services for the renovation of a portion of Spark Center SC (formerly Center for Entrepreneurial & Business Development). The Spark Center SC office complex is part of a 460,000 SF building on the Tyger River Campus of Spartanburg Community College which operates as an industrial and warehouse facility containing manufacturing, classrooms and entrepreneurial start-up space.
The project consisted of demolition, improvements & renovations to expand the operation of the CBED within the existing facility. The interior renovation provides new offices, collaborative spaces, classrooms, conference rooms and large multi-purpose space.
