Clemson University has selected Craig Gaulden Davis to design an addition to Littlejohn Coliseum, the University’s venue for intercollegiate basketball games, concerts and graduation ceremonies. The addition will provide dedicated practice courts for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs, as well as film rooms and coaches’ offices.
At Clemson, CGD designed Calhoun Courts and Lightsey Bridge dormitories, and Phases I & II of the renovation to Memorial Stadium, among others, including the most photographed structure on campus: the pedestal for Frank Howard’s Rock. In addition to their work at Clemson, CGD has worked at 19 other colleges and universities across the Southeast.
CGD will team with Corley Redfoot Architects from Chapel Hill to execute the Littlejohn project.
