Our summer interns are joining Craig Gaulden Davis (CGD) from a variety of great architecture schools. Join us as we welcome and introduce this talented group of up-and-coming architects!
Julia Bucci | Illinois Institute of Technology
Julia re-joins CGD as a Summer Intern. She has just completed her second year at IIT College of Architecture in Chicago.
“I love city-life in Chicago and the opportunity to study and learn in a Mies van der Rohe building. I so am excited to be back at Craig Gaulden Davis this Summer and designing spaces for communities and seeing the unique experiences the spaces will offer.”
Johanna Hilmes | Clemson University
Johanna is a Class of 2024 student at Clemson University School of Architecture. We are so excited to welcome her to our office this summer!
“This summer I am hoping to learn more about the construction process of creating architecture; how do these choices get made, how do pieces go together, how can I create effective drawings for this? I am also interested to learn about the timeline of a project and the steps it takes to progress forward.
Mostly I am excited to be in an office where I can learn from others and how they do things, from workflows and methods, to tips and advice!”
Omari Watson | University of Maryland College Park
Omari is supporting our Baltimore office this summer and will begin his 2nd year of graduate school this upcoming fall at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.
“I’m hoping to learn more about biophilic design, how design impacts the user experience, and how spaces can offer different emotions for different demographics. I also want to sharpen my skills and efficiency in Revit and produce higher-quality drawings/renderings.”
