Ebenezer Park is a popular destination on Lake Wylie in York County, SC that was developed in the 1980s. The current park elements had a “piecemeal” layout that required a new park master plan to address overall flow and connectivity to maximize their 26 acres.
ADC Engineers designed a master plan that includes improved parking, a great lawn for recreational sports, trails, playground, picnic area, kayak launch and beach expansion.
CGD led the design of site structures, notably, a pavilion building that is flexible and can serve as a picnic shelter or a stage for small concerts. The building features a small kitchen and restrooms. Large barn doors on the front can open up for the stage while pivot doors on the back open up to views of the lake and the swimming area.
A circular pier is an exciting and unique addition to Ebenezer Park that provides covered viewing platforms out in the lake.
