CGD’s Ron Geyer contributed to two presentations that were part of this year’s Worship Facilities Expo (WFX) in Dallas, TX. WFX, presented by Church Production and Worship Facilities Magazines and sponsored by Christianity Today International, brings together thousands of church and industry leaders to guide facilities and technology investments for houses of worship.
Geyer, who leads CGD’s work with ministry clients, was one of two presenters who spoke about the ways in which architecture expresses and serves the values and ministry of particular congregation. He was part of a three-person panel that addressed the acoustical requirements of worship environments.
The sessions were part of a five-part series sponsored by the AIA’s Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture (IFRAA). Geyer serves on IFRAA’s 5-person Advisory Group.
