rial Branch Library in Covington, Georgia received LEED Gold certification for its sustainable design and won a Committee on the Environment (COTE) award by AIA South Carolina. The building incorporates daylight to reduce energy usage, has raised flooring to efficiently heat and cool the space, features indigenous plant materials and uses captured rainwater for irrigation. Stuart Stenger, AIA was project manager.
