While most schools are looking for ways to expand, Craig Gaulden Davis helped Charleston Southern University see that it had room to grow inside its own borders. They encouraged CSU to make use of unusually large and undeveloped areas at the campus’ interior rather than spreading outward. Groups of activity – student life, instruction, administration, and cultural life – are organized around the central reflection pond.
