Furman University selected CGD to plan and design a conference center to offer a bridge between the University and the community. University leaders wanted a gathering space that would give the public “the Furman experience” first hand as users interact with faculty and students at seminars and continuing education events. The plan is built around a central 6,000 sf meeting room that can be divided into two 1,400 SF rooms.
