Level 10 is Rick Erwin Dining Group’s (REDG) latest culinary endeavor. Continuing an over decade-long partnership with REDG, Craig Gaulden Davis was honored to design the 10th floor restaurant as part of the new AC Hotel Spartanburg, locally owned by the Johnson family and operated by OTO Development, a Johnson Management Company.
Level 10 offers seasonal small plates, exceptional cocktails, and stellar skyline views. In keeping with the sophistication one anticipates at a REDG restaurant, the design team chose tailored, chic materials such as wood herringbone flooring, marble mosaic tiles, and accents of blue velvet on over-sized wingback chairs. Upon entry, a handcrafted blue wall covering and large white moldings draw you into the space toward a centrally located bar which functions indoors from three sides, the fourth opening to a large outdoor terrace. Above community style tables and cozy lounge groupings that surround the bar, two custom designed chandeliers flank each end.
Glowing blue resin panels lead patrons into the main dining room where multiple seating options are available including a long banquette and wingback booths for a more intimate dining experience. Dark, plush carpeting and soaring coffered ceilings lend the dining room a dramatic quality. Two smaller terraces will attract the al fresco crowd and a third terrace opens from the private dining room for exceptional event experiences.
