St. George occupies the site of an earlier Orthodox church, built shortly after World War II, in downtown Greenville. It houses a 600 seat sanctuary, bride’s room and sacristies, with provisions for a future chapel and choir rehearsal room. Careful acoustical design highlights Orthodox liturgy, which is both spoken and sung by the priest and cantors.
