In 2003, Greenville County Schools and Institutional Resources selected Craig Gaulden Davis to renovate and add a classroom wing to a school that the firm originally designed in 1983. At that time, the facility was designed as a “state of the art” school, and it has stood the test of time.
The classroom renovations were primarily due to upgrades in technology and mechanical systems. The capacity of the school was expanded with a new classroom wing containing two science laboratories. With the increased capacity also came an expanded cafeteria and kitchen. Fresh finishes and vibrant floor patterns were added, and the beloved interior courtyards were kept intact.
