The 160 year old Advent’s granite-faced buildings had not been updated in a number of years to keep up with ministry needs. Craig Gaulden Davis helped the church to articulate its objectives and studied the likely role of each structure. The resulting Master Plan organized new and renovated space around a central landscaped courtyard focused on the original Gothic sanctuary. Phase I construction was a new building that housed a gymnasium, dining and meeting rooms, and new classrooms for use by children and preschoolers.
