The new Greene Finney Cauley headquarters is a two-story, 10,000 sf office building that sits on a recently developed office park right off an extension of the Swamp Rabbit Trail (SRT). The connection to the SRT and the surrounding community was a driving factor when choosing a location that would help define their office culture. After more than 25 years serving the Greenville community and surrounding area, the client desired a more traditional aesthetic resulting in a mix of brick and stucco to establish a new architectural vernacular for the small office park off Butler Road.
The building is oriented to bring natural light into the open office work areas while maximizing views from public spaces to the trail and framing the surrounding vistas. The interior design and layout provide a mix of private and communal offices, semi-private work areas, collaborative spaces, and open work areas that are designed to operate as flex workstations.
The headquarter design supports GFC’s mission and brand by establishing a workplace culture through an open office environment with an aim to attract and retain talent. As trusted accountants, this new building demonstrates GFC’s commitment to its clients and staff, supports their continued growth, and provides future flexibility as they expand into new markets.
