Pendleton High School students in Anderson School District Four are the beneficiaries of a renovated media center with a coffee shop. Craig Gaulden Davis helped the school visualize the modernized media center. In addition to the cafe style library, a new entry was created to improve accessibility and windows were installed to increase visualization and open up the fully interior room. The renovation included new carpet and LVT patterns as a foundation for an abundance of new seating types: lounge areas, mobile tables and chairs, inviting and flexible seats, cafe table and chairs, etc. Several new glass front collaboration rooms with write-able walls were created to provide break-out groups the tools and atmosphere needed to focus and collaborate. Mobile stations keep charging technology very easy and a few floating write-able boards can be rolled around to where ever they are needed most.
