Christ Church Episcopal School desired a space to integrate worship, tradition, and the teachings of their church sponsor into the daily lives of the student body. Craig Gaulden Davis’ design for the Chapel of the Good Shepherd located the new building among pre-existing academic facilities, where it physically and spiritually anchors the school community through weekly chapel services and other assemblies. Facing pews across a central aisle derives from a traditional English (Anglican) school model.
